Person fleeing a traffic stop apprehended after brief foot chase in Fond du Lac County

A person was taken into custody after a foot chase with Fond du Lac County deputies and a State Patrol Trooper when the person took off running from a traffic stop Saturday night, April 11, 2026.

Just after 8:30 p.m., officers pulled over a driver that was reported to be driving in a reckless manner.

While doing a field sobriety test, the driver took off running southbound in the northbound lane of I-41 between Military Road and Hickory Street. after a short chase, the suspect was apprehended in the ditch near where they initially started running.
