PHOTOS: Fond du Lac Police investigate severely injured man on 6th Street

Fond du Lac Police and City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to an address on 6th Street between Ellis and Marr Streets Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Initial reports were that a man was laying on the floor in the house and a women was seen “covered in blood” according to the page that summoned the ambulance.

Police on scene found the man with agonal breathing and substantial facial injuries. After clearing the house for any suspects, the medical crew was allowed in to tend to the victim.

That man was eventually brought to SSM St. Agnes Hospital where an awaiting medical helicopter than transported him to ThedaCare Medical Complex in Neenah.

Police on scene were seen interviewing several people in the area and also looking for neighboring houses that may have a security camera facing the scene. Yellow police tape was also wrapped around the scene.

This is a breaking news incident and KFIZ will have more information once a press release is issued.
