PHOTOS: Pedestrian bridge connecting Lakeside Park East and West officially opens with ribbon cutting ceremony

The two parts of Lakeside Park separated by the Fond du Lac River as it empties into Lake Winnebago are now connected for the first time ever with a new walking trail and bridge that stretches from one side to the other. On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the city of Fond du Lac held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the bridge.
