PHOTOS: Semi Crashes – Blocks Highway 23 On East Side Of Fond du Lac

A semi which appeared to have been going westbound on Highway 23 failed to negotiate the roundabout at Wisconsin American Drive on Fond du Lac’s east side just before midnight, Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The semi tipped on to its side, injuring the driver. ThedaStar Medical Helicopter met Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue ambulance at SSM St. Agnes Hospital. The highway was reopened at 1:15 AM only to be shut down again between 3 and 4 AM to remove the semi. The highway was re-opened just before 8 AM.
