PHOTOS: Severe warned thunderstorm moves into Fond du Lac County

On Monday night, April 27, 2026, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwest Dodge and central Fond du Lac County. KFIZ’s Doug Raflik was out west of Waupun, taking photos of the storm as it approached.

Of note in the photos, the orange lights in the second photo is lights from Fox Lake Correctional Institute shining on the clouds, and the orange on the bottom of the the clouds on the last two photos on the left side of the photos is the lights from the City of Fox Lake.

No severe weather was reported with the storm’s passage, however some pea sized hail was reported in southwest Fond du Lac County.
