Plane And Second Victim Recovered From Lake Winnebago Plane Crash

Winnebago County authorities have announced that the plane and second victim killed in the crash Saturday morning in Lake Winnebago have been recovered saying the “vast majority” of the T-6 Texan plane has been recovered from the lake.

The T-6 crashed into the lake at about 9 AM with two people onboard.

The planes occupants were identified as 30-year-old Devyn Reiley, of Guadalupe, Texas, and 20-year-old Zach Colliemoreno who were in the area for Airventure in Oshkosh.

Reiley was well known in the aviation world, and an avid WWII plane pilot. She was co-founder of the Texas Warbird Museum, which is described as a history museum and aviation school.

Colliemoreno was recovered soon after the crash but sheriff’s officials said the plane’s position made it difficult to recover Reiley.

The crash continues to be investigated by the NTSB and FAA.
