Pneumonia blamed in deaths at Taycheedah Correctional Institution

Earlier this week Officials at Taycheedah Correctional Institution released the cause of recent deaths of two prisoners.

The Fond du Lac Chief Medical Examiner ruled bacterial pneumonia killed 36-year-old Shawanee Reed and 33-year-old Brittany Doescher.

The medical Examiner went on to say the two women also had Influenza A, which can directly lead to pneumonia.

The two women died just one week apart from each other in late February and early March.
