Police Investigate Shots Fired Within FDL City Limits

FDL PD is investigating a case of shots fired within the city limits Thursday night. Officers were called just before 11:00 p.m. to the area of Western Ave. and Oak St., where a caller reported hearing shots coming from the neighborhood. Once on the scene, officers did retrieve shell casings in the 200 block of Oak St. Police do have a person of interest that they are talking to, and will also be reviewing door bell camera footage as well as surveillance video from a camera located on a business in the area. The incident remains under investigation.
