Positive COVID-19 Cases, Hospitalizations Up In FDL County

The weekend brought a sizeable increase in positive COVID-19 cases as well as a 20% increase in hospitalizations in Fond du Lac County.

The latest numbers released Monday by the Fond du Lac County Health Department shows 108 new confirmed cases of the virus since Friday afternoon, pushing the county total to 16,565. Hospitalizations rose with now a dozen people receiving hospital care in the county due to complications from the virus.

Active cases declined slightly, down five to 626, while another 113 cases were listed as released.

Over 1,300 negative tests were also reported since Friday.
