Power Outage Affected Nearly 2,000 In FDL

There were about 1,985 Wisconsin Power & Light customers without power on the northwest side of the City of Fond du Lac this morning. Early indications are that a transformer went out or there was an equipment failure at the Hickory Street Substation located along the 200 block of South Hickory Street at about 9:45 a.m. this morning. All customers were restored to power around 11:00 a.m.
