Preliminary Hearing Set For Former Slinger High School Band Teacher

A retired Slinger High School band teacher suspected of having sex with a female student will be back in Washington County Court for a preliminary hearing on April 21st.  Sixty-six-year-old David Hanke of Slinger retired in 2012. The alleged sexual assaults occurred more than 15 years ago when the girl was 16 or 17 years old. After Hanke was arrested in December, a number of other former students reportedly came forward making more accusations against him.
