Prison sentences handed down for two men in City of Fond du Lac drug overdose death
Two men received prison sentences Friday, March 6, 2026, in Fond du Lac County for their roles in the drug related overdose death of a man in the City of Fond du Lac in 2023.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced that Larry Plummer and Adrian Santiago-Hernandez were sentenced for their roles in the fentanyl overdose death that occurred on August 14, of 2023.
Plummer received a 10-year prison sentence with an additional 10 years of extended supervision for 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide. Santiago-Hernandez got 1 year of prison and 8 years of extended supervision for 1st Degree Reckless Homicide.
Toney says Santiago-Hernandez’s cooperation, at the time of his arrest and throughout the case, led to a reduced sentence, which allowed the State to charge and convict Plummer, who was the source of the drugs and was said to be higher in the chain of delivery of the drugs.
