Public Invited To Listen To Question/Answer Period In Police Chief Candidate Forum

The two finalists have been named in the search for the next Police Chief in the city of Fond du Lac. Now residents will have their chance to listen to the question/answer period in a public forum involving the two candidates.

The Police and Fire commission is set to meet next Thursday in closed session to interview Aaron Goldstein and Kevin Warych. Goldstein is currently the interim Chief of Police for the City of Fond du Lac, while Warych is Operations Commander in the Green Bay Police Department.

Following those interviews, the two finalists will participate in a question and answer session, with questions that will be prepared and reviewed ahead of time by members of the Police and Fire Commission.

The public forum, which will be moderated by Human Resources Manager Jackie Braatz and consultant Anne Lewis of Baker Tilly. The Police and Fire Commission asks the public to send any comments they have following the public forum by noon on August 30^th to:
