Public meeting set for Highway 32 going through Kiel

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is looking into alternatives for proposed improvements on a 1.5 mile stretch of Highway 32 in the city of Kiel.

The DOT will hold a public involvement meeting to show proposed improvements on 32 between Highway 67 and County Highway AA. The meeting will be held at the Kiel Community Center on Wednesday, October 1st at 5 p.m..

The meeting will review proposed alternatives, including a proposed new roundabout, bridge replacement, and pavement replacement in various locations throughout Kiel. The project team will give a brief presentation at the beginning of the meeting. The meeting will then move to an open-house format.​

Once a final plan is devised, construction is set to start in 2029. A DOT website with more information can be found here.
