Public Meeting Tuesday on City of FDL 2040 Comprehensive Plan

Members of the community are invited to an open house
meeting this week to discuss the next 20-year comprehensive plan for the City
of Fond du Lac. City leaders want to hear from the public about the 2040 Comprehensive
Plan – which sets long-term community goals and establishes city policies and actions
related to a number of different areas, including transportation, natural
resources, land use, recreation, housing and economic development.

Harry says these conversations are important for the community to take part in.
“We’re not locking into something today, but we’re setting the pace and the
general direction for where we want to head as a community with our public services
and our public influences through this process today,” Harry said. “So if you
have an idea for what you would like the community to be working on in the next
20 years – and the city’s role in what that should look like – these are
important conversations for you to be paying attention to.” The meeting is scheduled
for Tuesday (September 24^th) from 4:30 until 7 pm at the Radisson
Hotel & Conference Center in Fond du Lac.
