Pursuit Spanning Three Counties Stops On I-41 In Fond du Lac County

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s office with a vehicle pursuit that spanned
all 3 counties.

A Washington County officer began chasing the vehicle for a speed violation and the vehicle refused to pull over for the officer.

Traveling northbound on I-41, the pursuit, now with three Washington County deputies in tow of the white Subaru, made it’s way into Dodge County where a Dodge County Officer attempted to deploy a set of tire deflation devices on the road. The vehicle at this time was only traveling at 20 miles per hour so the driver was able to avoid the device.

Moving into Fond du Lac County, the driver continued north at a slow speed.

Around the area of County Highway Y, a Fond du Lac County officer deployed another set of tire deflation devices, this time, hitting tires on the car.

About another half mile up the highway, the vehicle stopped and the driver was taken into custody with no further resistance.

Other details of the pursuit have not been released by the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
