Railroad Crossing Work Begins In Fond du Lac

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works is informing the motoring public of upcoming railroad crossing repairs.

Director of Public Works, Paul DeVries said Canadian National will be completing various railroad-crossing repairs the weeks of May 17th and 24th . The railroad crossings included are Military Road and Satterlee Street, and the City will be working with CN for storm sewer work at the Western Avenue crossing.

CN will complete work at each crossing before they move to the next crossing. Tentative work started at the Military Road crossing Tue. May 18th and the Satterlee Street the week of May 24th, weather pending.

Signed detours will be in place. Traffic on Military Rd will detour to Forest Ave. and Satterlee Street will detour to Arndt Street.
