Recharge and Reset with Marian University’s C.A.R.E Conference

If you spend your days caring for others, who’s making sure you take care of yourself? The 3rd Annual C.A.R.E. (Care. Advocate. Rest. Educate.) Conference at Marian University of Wisconsin is tackling that very question, bringing together students, professionals, and lifelong learners for a deep dive into ethics, boundaries, and self-care in the helping professions.

Set for Friday, April 11th, 8:00AM – 12:00PM, at Marian University’s Stayer Dining Room, the C.A.R.E. Conference is more than just another professional development event. This year’s conference offers an interactive and thought-provoking experience designed to give attendees the tools they need to navigate ethical dilemmas, maintain professional boundaries, and prioritize their own well-being all while earning four Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Key discussions include managing dual relationships, handling ethical challenges in small communities, and using decision-making frameworks to approach complex situations with confidence. The conference also emphasizes self-care as an ethical responsibility, offering strategies to help professionals maintain resilience and avoid burnout. Beyond insightful sessions, attendees can network, enjoy a complimentary breakfast, and participate in a self-care raffle.

“Whether you’re a student, a seasoned professional, or someone exploring a career in a helping field, the C.A.R.E. Conference offers valuable insights and strategies to support your journey,” said Brenda Stueber, Associate Professor of Social Work at Marian University of Wisconsin.

No matter where you are in your career, the C.A.R.E. Conference is your opportunity to learn, connect, and invest care in yourself. For more information and to secure your spot, visit https://www.marianuniversity.edu/event/c-a-r-e-conference-2/.
