Record Setting Year For Charity Open
Once again patients and families of Agnesian HealthCare’s Hospice Hope will benefit from this year’s Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Charity Open.
The day featured a great day of golfing at South Hills Golf & Country Club, followed by a semi-formal dinner with exciting live and silent auctions and raffle drawings.
More than $380,000 was raised to support direct hospice patient care. In addition, generous donors also stepped forward to give an additional $470,000 to help offset expenses related to the eight-bed expansion at the Hospice Home of Hope.
“Each year I am overwhelmed with the continued generosity of our community, says Holly Brenner, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation president. “Thanks to the support of our sponsors, events attendees and raffle ticket purchasers, we will be able to fund approximately 1,300 days of hospice patient care, and we are so much closer to meeting our Hospice Home of Hope expansion goal.”
The 2017 Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Charity Open was led by senior chairpersons Dr. Burt & Alysia Steffes with Tim and Rose Ahern joining as junior chairpersons.
This year’s major sponsors were: Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Baker Cheese Factory, Inc., C.D. Smith Construction, CSI Leasing, Drs. Punit & Nidhi Kumar, Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, Graystone Consulting, Holiday Automotive, Integrated Data Storage, Lakeside Wealth Management, Margaret Terlinden, Michels Corporation, Spies Painting Inc., Summit Automotive, TTI Inc., and Zimmerman Architectural Studios.
