Record shattering stretch of warm weather ongoing in northeast Wisconsin
If you think its been a long time since we’ve had a cool day, you’re right. In fact we are in the midst of setting a new record in north east Wisconsin for the longest period of consecutive days with a high temperature higher than 60 degrees.
As of Saturday, September 28, 2024, when the high hit 77, we were at 149 days of highs above 60 degrees. The previous record was 146 days which was set in 1933. The last time the high temperature was in the 50s or cooler was May 2nd.
This record looks to continue to be extended as the forecasted high temperature looks to be above 60 for at least the next 7 days.
