Report of Man Showing Gun Leads to Arrest for Warrant, Drugs

Police responded to an alley behind Harrison Place Wednesday morning on the report of someone seen flashing a gun. Officers spotted a man known to have an outstanding warrant through Winnebago County – but when they attempted to place him under arrest, he resisted and tried to escape the officer. 

The 31-year old Fond du Lac man was eventually subdued. He was taken into custody for the warrant and resisting an officer – along with heroin and methamphetamine that was found in his possession at the time of the arrest.
