Residents Encouraged To Line Funeral Procession Route Wednesday (9/29/21)

Chief Aaron Goldstein issued a “Call to the Community” on Tuesday via a Facebook post, encouraging area residents to line the funeral procession route and pay their respects to Officer Joseph Kurer, who passed away last week from complications with COVID-19.

A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, the procession set to depart from the church at approximately 1:00 p.m.

The procession will travel west on 4th St to Main St., then north on Main St. past the Police Department, where City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue will have two ladder trucks hoisting the American flag across Main. St.

The procession will then continue east on Johnson St, south on National Ave., and finally east on Division St., past Zacherl Funeral Home.
