Reward offered for information on cat killing

An update to a story we brought you Monday where a cat was found deceased on Fond du Lac’s northwest side with an arrow shot through it.

Yesterday, Critter Junction Pet Rescue, who responded to take custody of the animal, announced a $500 reward for information leading to the capture of the person that killed the cat. It’s unknown if this reward was put up solely by the rescue or if it’s origins came from concerned citizens as well because there was talk of putting up a reward by social media posters. Regardless, the total will likely rise as more social media chatter on the rescue’s Facebook page had people asking how they could add money to the reward total.

The cat was found Sunday morning on Henry Street in Fond du Lac. City of Fond du Lac Police are investigating the incident. If you have any information on the incident, contact them or Critter Junction Pet Rescue.
