Ripon PD Makes Drug Bust, Charges Filed With County DA

Any drug overdose is cause for concern. But seven in a 4 week period, in a small city the size of Ripon is cause for serious concern. Ripon PD uncovered a distribution source, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia and narcotics and multiple locations this week as a result of search warrants they initiated. Charges have been referred to the FDL County DA’s office, with numerous suspects being identified. The warrants were a result of an ongoing investigation between the Ripon Police Department and the Lake Winnebago MEG drug unit. The matter remains under investigation.
