Riverside Elementary Among Healthiest Schools In America
Riverside Elementary School in Fond du Lac is one of 15 schools in the state that will receive National Healthy Schools Awards for being named to the 2017 list of America’s Healthiest Schools. According to the state’s Department of Public Instruction 323 schools from 30 states made the list this year. State Superintendent of Schools Tony Evers says the schools earned the honor by working to serve healthier meals and snacks, increase physical activity, offer high quality physical and health education programs.
