RMC Agnesian Donate To Splash Pad Effort

Ripon Medical Center and Agnesian HealthCare have donated $10,000 to support a proposed splash pad at Riggs County Park, just east of Ripon. The ground-based water play area is planned in a grassy area near the park’s Douglas Street entrance, adjacent to the shelter.

            The donation supports efforts by the Ripon Noon Kiwanis Club to raise $250,000 to build the splash pad.

“We are pleased to be a part of this community effort,” says Katherine Vergos, Ripon Medical Center chief operating officer. “Through our Know & Go program, we appreciate any opportunity where children can play, while at the same time, learn the benefits of exercise and healthy activity. This will be a great addition to the Ripon community, and we appreciate being a part of it.”
