Rollover Crash On Lakeshore Drive Results In OWI

A single vehicle crash occurred on Lakeshore Drive last night completely blocking the roadway.

Around 12:30 AM, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center started receiving calls of a vehicle on its roof in the middle of the road on Lakeshore Drive, south of Subway road.

Officers from the sheriff’s department as well as Van Dyne first responders and North Fond du Lac Ambulance arrived on the scene to find the single occupant of the vehicle out of the car and walking around.

The driver was transported to SSM St Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac to be evaluated.

The driver of the vehicle has been cited with operating while intoxicated and failure to maintain control of his vehicle.

According to police, there was damage to a house in the area as well. It is unknown how that damage comes into play with the crash.
