Rollover crash takes out wires in southeast part of Fond du Lac County

Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office are investigating what led a driver in a car to crash Thursday, May 2, 2024 on County Highway G in the southeast part of the county and flip over, taking down some powerlines with it.

The crash occurred around 10:15 AM near Auburn Ashford drive. Kewaskum ambulance and Campbellsport Fire Department also responded to the scene.

When officers arrived, the man and lone occupant was still in the upside down vehicle. They assisted him out and away from the vehicle and wires.

Highway G was closed for an extended time while WE Energies worked to fix the lines before the vehicle could be towed from the scene.
