Rumors of finding Elija Vue false according to Two Rivers Police

The Two Rivers Police Department has taken the defensive to put to rest some rumors making the rounds that Elija Vue has been found.

The department said in a statement Monday “Spreading of false and misleading information is disrespectful to the family of Elijah and detracts from our efforts in locating him,”

Officials said the searches were ongoing including coordinated drone searches with the Wisconsin Drone Network, with assistance from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and the Manitowoc Police Department Drone Teams.

Canine searches have also been conducted in several areas of interest coordinated by the Wisconsin K-9 Search & Rescue team.
