Russians Did Not Hack Wisconsin Voting System

Wisconsin’s election system was not hacked last November. At least that’s what state election officials have concluded. Servers were looked at and it appears there may have been some illegal activity in trying to get into another state agency. Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg doesn’t feel the Russians would be interested in picking Wisconsin to hack an election system. Freiberg points out the County keeps some personal information on voters, but it is secure and would not be as vulnerable to that type of hacking.
