Safety Grant Money Being Distributed

Several schools around our area will receive grant money through the newly created Office of School Safety. According to the latest announcements from Attorney General Brad Schimel – the money will go towards building safety improvements. Waupun is getting just under $100,000, Portage Community Schools will get around $79,000, and Markesan will receive more than $22,000. A little further north, Mishicot will get $63,000, Howards Grove is seeing almost $67,000, Menasha is getting $165,000, and Appleton is set to receive more that $767,000.
