Salute the Troops to host annual races

Salute the Troops will host their annual race, including a 10K, Dobogai Memorial 5K, Brandon Michael Memorial Ruck March, and kids fun run, on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The event will begin on Oven Island at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Proceeds will benefit veterans and their families in the Fox Valley.

“This annual event is a staple for Salute the Troops” Jason Turner, Salute the Troops Executive Director, said. “This year, it is a little different, as we have replaced the half marathon with a 10K. Our races are a great opportunity for runners and walkers of all types to enjoy the outdoors, all while assisting veterans.”

Salute the Troops seeks to support local service-members, veterans, and their families through financial assistance, resource brokering, and supportive programming while creating awareness, delivering education, and fostering camaraderie all while stimulating economic development in our community.
