Salvation Army Gives 1000s Of Toys To Local Families

The Fond du Lac Salvation Army conducted their annual Angel Tree and Adopt a Family program gift giveaway Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.

Families that signed up and qualified stopped by the Rec Center to pick up bags of donated gifts and food for Christmas.

According to Crystal Champeau of the Fond du Lac Salvation Army, 1000s of gifts were able to be given to about 1500 kids from around 500 families yesterday.

About 50 Salvation Army volunteers took about a week to set up the event by sorting and bagging the items and arranging them on dozens of tables to be handed out to the families as they showed up
