WIAA Girls Volleyball Tournament (Regional Championships):

Division 3:
St. Mary’s Springs 3, Markesan 0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-22)
–The Ledgers are Regional Champs! Emily Mueller totaled 21 kills and three blocks, Virginia Arndt had 19 assists and five digs, Rachel Petersen added 15 assists while Katie Baker had 18 digs and two aces.
Winnebago Lutheran 3, Princeton/Green Lake 2 (21-25, 29-27, 17-25, 25-17, 15-11)
–The Vikings are Regional Champions! Sam Bernhard had 14 kills and eight blocks, Jena Krueger and Lexi Livieri each had seven kills, while Livieri added seven kills, five aces and three blocks. Hailey Becker added 30 assists and 13 digs.
Winnebago Lutheran and St. Mary’s Springs will face off in a sectional semifinal game on Thursday at Laconia High School.
Division Four:

–Winnebago Lutheran will host Wayland Academy in a Sectional Semifinal game on Thursday
St. Lawrence Seminary 2, Oshkosh Lourdes/Valley Christian 0
–St. Lawrence Seminary will take on Sturgeon Bay in a Sectional Semifinal matchup on Thursday.
WIAA Cross Country Sectionals:
Division One:
The Fond du Lac boys placed fourth as a team at the Manitowoc Sectional. Kiernan Koepke placed fourth individually with a time of 16:42 and qualifies for the State Cross Country meet. Jeffrey Heuer Jr. placed 14th (17:29) and Henry Hughes 17th (17:37).
The Fond du Lac girls placed fourth as a team at the Manitowoc Sectional. Madison Hughes took first place individually with a time of 19:38 to qualify for the State Cross Country meet.
Division Two:
The North Fond du Lac/Oakfield boys placed fifth at the Winneconne Sectional. Diego Charbonneau placed second individually with a time of 16:56 to qualify for the State Cross Country meet.
The North Fond du Lac/Oakfield girls placed 15th as a team at Winneconne. Romaine Fryand placed 52nd individually to lead the team with a time of 23:04.
The Waupun boys placed fourth as a team at the Winneconne Sectional with Bailey Bille placing fourth individually with a time of 17:12.
The Waupun girls placed 14th as a team at Winneconne with Sarah Miller placing 67th to lead the Warriors individually (23:47)
The Ripon boys placed third as a team at the Winneconne Sectional with Riley Gatzke taking ninth place individually (17:33).
The Ripon girls placed 10th as a team at Winneconne. Julia Long was the highest finisher for the Tigers with a time of 22:20.
The Lomira boys placed 11th as a team at the Winneconne Sectional. The Lions’ highest finisher individually was Steven Aquirre in 24th place (18:18)
The Lomira girls placed ninth as a team at Winneconne. Marin Reed was the highest finisher for the Lions with a time of 21:48.
The Mayville boys placed 13th as a team at the Winneconne Sectional, Isaac Wolf led the Cardinals individually with a time of 19:32 to place 63rd.
The Mayville girls placed sixth as a team at Winneconne with Cecily Hurtienne placing 15th individually (21:33) to lead the Cardinals
St. Lawrence Seminary placed 14th as a team at Winneconne with Mason Burge leading the way in 26th place individually (18:18.66)
The Campbellsport boys placed 16th as a team at Winneconne with Ike Grahl placing 58th individually (19:21).
The Campbellsport girls placed 12th as a team at Winneconne. Calla Loehr placed 22nd to lead the Cougars individually (21:53).
Division 3:
The St. Mary’s Springs boys placed 6th as a team at the Manitowoc Lutheran Sectional. Isaac Shannon placed fifth individually to lead the Ledgers with a time of 17:09.
The St. Mary’s Springs girls placed 11th at Manitowoc Lutheran, with Lizzie Guerin placing 26th individually to lead the Ledgers (22:43)
The Winnebago Lutheran boys placed 16th as a team at the Manitowoc Lutheran sectional. Mark Flood led the Vikings with a time of 20:41 to finish in 74th place.
The Winnebago Lutheran girls placed 13th as a team at Manitowoc Lutheran. Sarah Niehueser placed fourth individually to qualify for the State Cross Country meet with a time of 20:58. Elle Teske took 7th place for the Vikings (21:21).
