Scouting for food, food drive going on now

The Boy Scouts of America Bay Lakes Council is holding their 36th annual Scouting For Food food drive.

This important community service event helps make a healthy difference for those in need.

Scouts were asked to distribute food collection bags and they will be picking them up the morning of April 27. If you received a bag on your front door, please have it out by 8am on Saturday morning for the scouts to come and pick them up. If you did not receive a bag but want to support the food drive, they are having a Fill the Truck Event at Festival Foods on Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Plus donations can be dropped in collection bins at Festival Foods until Saturday. All donations will be taken to local food pantries and food banks.

The following locations will be helped by the drive,

Fondy Food Pantry, St Katharine Drexel Shelter, Holyland Food Pantry, Broken Bread, Salvation Army, Oakfield Food Pantry, Brandon Food Pantry, Loaves and Fishes, and Waupun Food Pantry.
