Second of two men involved in 2021 Fond du Lac homicide pleads no contest to charges

30-year-old Eric Perry plead no contest Monday, December 2, 2024, to a number of charges stemming from an armed robbery that resulted in a homicide in Fond du Lac in 2021.

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney said Monday that Perry was convicted for Second Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery and Felon in Possession of a firearm.

The incident happened October 17th 2021 when Perry and Julius Freeman Jr committed an armed robbery of a man at an 8th street residence in the city of Fond du Lac. The victim was found with a single gunshot wound to the head and his firearm and a large amount of cash was stolen.

Freeman was convicted on July 26th of 2023 for first degree intentional homicide and armed robbery for the incident.

Perry is due back in court for sentencing March 24th.
