Selfie Thief Identified

Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials say they’ve identified the thief who uploaded a selfie to the Cloud. The investigation is continuing into the June 21st incident in which a thief entered a parked vehicle in the Town of Vinland and took an iPod and other items. But releasing the photo led to identifying a suspect in the thefts. The suspect took a picture of himself on the iPod and uploaded it to the victim’s iPod Cloud account.
