Senator Dan Feyen announces reelection campaign in new 20th senate district

Now that the dust has settled and 2023 ACT 94 was signed into law creating new Senate districts, State Senator Dan Feyen has officially kicked off his 2024 election campaign for the new 20th State Senate district.

Feyen said, “I’m excited to officially kick off the 2024 campaign. I have spent the last 8 years traveling around the 18th State Senate District, meeting as many constituents as possible and literally knocking on tens of thousands of doors. We have had great success in the district but now the lines have been changed and Fond du Lac, my hometown, is now part of the 20th Senate District.”

He goes on to say, “We’ve put together a plan, will continue to lay the groundwork and will hit the ground running, meeting with the voters of the new 20th Senate District and asking for their support in November.”

Feyen was elected to the State Senate in 2016 and reelected in 2020, winning with nearly 60% of the vote. Senator Feyen serves as the Senate Assistant Majority Leader and is Chairman of the Senate Economic Development and Technical Colleges Committee. In addition, Feyen serves as a board member on the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and is a new member of the Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball District Board.

Senator Feyen lives in Fond du Lac and is a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish, the Fond du Lac Noon Rotary and is involved in his community. He is married to his wife Lori and they have two adult children, both graduates of UW Madison.

The 20th Senate district comprises of portions of Dodge, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Washington Counties. The General election will be held Tuesday November 5th, 2024.
