Senator Johnson Loses Court Battle Over “Obamacare” Lawsuit

A federal judge Monday dismissed Senator Ron Johnson’s lawsuit regarding “Obamacare.” Judge William Griesbach released his decision yesterday. In it he ruled Senator Johnson does not have standing to sue and rejected claims that Johnson is an injured party. Johnson’s suit argued the Obama Administration didn’t have the authority to allow health insurance subsidies for members of Congress and their staff. Johnson issued a statement Monday again claiming that the federal health care law gives special treatment to members of Congress and their staffs.
