Serious injury reported in head-on motorcycle vs car crash near airport

One person was seriously injured in a car vs motorcycle crash near the Fond du Lac County Airport Friday, August 28, 2026.

At about 1:36 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Communications Center began receiving calls of the crash, reporting the motorcycle driver was lying injured in the roadway on Rolling Meadows Drive near the entrance to the airport.

On scene, officers reported a head on collision between the two vehicles.

Because of the extent of injuries, the City of Fond du Lac Ambulance requested a medical helicopter on the scene to transport the motorcycle driver. ThedaStar transported the driver to ThedaCar Medical Center in Neenah. Their condition was not known at this time.
