Severe weather spotting class canceled due to possibility of severe weather

While there isn’t a significant risk of severe weather in the Fond du Lac area Monday, there will be a significant risk in the southern end of the county warning area for the National Weather Service out of Sullivan in Jefferson County.

Because of this, The warning coordinater, who was going to be giving the annual severe weather spotter talk in Fond du Lac at 6:30, will need to be staffed in the weather service office. Therefore, the spotter training at the City-County Government Center has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
