Sex Offender Moves In FDL

According to state records a 58-year-old man who served nearly six years in prison and jail for sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled woman is living in Fond du Lac. Steven Deichsel has been living at 72 ½ Butler Street for the past two weeks. The assault occurred while he was living in Oakfield. He had been living at 457 Thomas Street in Fond du Lac since being released from prison in February. He is being supervised by the State’s Corrections Department.  The assaults occurred in early 2007.
