Sex Offender Moving Into Alto Area

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a sex offender is moving to County Highway E near Alto. Sheriff’s Department says Jonathan A. Miller is moving to a residence located between the Village of Fairwater and the City of Waupun. 

A Dodge County Court approved a petition for discharge from a previous Chapter 980 Sexually Violent Person Commitment, which means Fond du Lac County has no legal authority to prevent Miller from residing in Fond du Lac County. 

Miller is not on any active community or extended supervision but is required to comply with the Sex Offender Registry including lifetime GPS monitoring. Based on Miller’s past, law prevents Miller’s information from being identified on the Sex Offender Registry public website, but Miller will be required to Comply with the requirements of lifetime Sex Offender Registration and Comply with requirements of lifetime GPS monitoring.
