Sex Offender Set To Be Released, Will Live In Eldorado

A sex offender is set to be released Thursday and will be living in Eldorado.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement Wednesday, saying they have learned Donald E. Anderson Jr., a Chapter 980 SEXUALLY VIOLENT PERSON, recently petitioned the court for supervised release. The petition was subsequently granted by the court.

In 1994, Anderson was convicted in Fond du Lac County of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old female who was known to him, and per state statutes must return to Fond du Lac County to reside upon his release. Anderson was also convicted of sexually assaulting two 16-year-old male strangers in Lake County, Illinois, in 1977.

Anderson will begin living at N8578 Nitschke Rd, in the Town of Eldorado, and his relocation is likely take place Thursday, August 12.
