Shed fire reported near Oakfield

The Oakfield and Lamartine fire departments responded to a shed on fire early this morning on Kinwood Road, south of the village of Oakfield.

At about 3:30 AM the home owner discovered the fire in the 40 by 80 shed and the two departments were called to the fire at W8302 Kinwood Road. Responding sheriff’s deputies arrived first and were able to knock the fire down with fire extinguishers but were not able to get it completely out. The building sustained fire and smoke damage, but equipment in the shed was not damaged.

The fire doesnt appear suspicious in nature.
