Shooting In Green Lake

A 28-year-old Green Lake man suffered life-threatening injuries while struggling over a weapon during a domestic incident in Green Lake late Saturday morning. Sheriff’s deputies and Green Lake Police responded just before 11:30 a.m. to a report about a man in an upstairs apartment with a firearm. A woman, and a downstairs neighbor-a man  had already fled the building. A perimeter was set up and the Sheriff’s SWAT team was brought in. Eventually the injured man appeared from the upper apartment. Flight for Life flew him to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. A struggle over a firearm occurred before 911 was called. It involved a 26-year-old woman, 50-year-old man, and the injured man. All three are from Green Lake.
