Man missing from Fond du Lac found minutes after silver alert issued

A Silver Alert has been cancelled minutes after being issued in Fond du Lac for missing 62-year-old James Fruehauf.

He was found walking near Highway 151 on the east side of Fond du Lac.

James went missing from 6th Street in Fond du Lac and was last seen at 7:12am Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023.

Police say he left The Berry House to go for a walk, which he’d never done before. He told another resident at the house not to worry about where he was going. He was last seen headed east on 6th Street.
