Snow Causes Havoc For Morning Commuters
Snow early this morning caused serious problems on area roads during the morning commute.
Hardest hit was the I-41 corridor as numerous vehicles went off the road in Fond du Lac County, some of them rolling over. At least one person was taken to the hospital in one of the crashes.
The National Weather Service says the Fond du Lac area could see around an inch or two of snow today for the areas first accumulating snowfall. A low pressure clipper system moving southeast out of Canada is the reason for the snow.
As the snow tapers off later this afternoon, the winds will increase to around 15 mph with gusts reaching as high as 30 mph.
