Snow on the way, then cold

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Fond du Lac area. The advisory runs from 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, through 6 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, 3-5 inches of snow may fall during the advisory time frame. In addition to the advisory, a winter storm warning is in effect for areas to our northwest where there is potential for up to 7 inches in Waupaca, Portage and wood Counties.

To our south there’s a chance some of the precipitation could fall as freezing rain.
