Snow To Continue Into Wednesday Night

The National Weather Service is advising that our area will see areas of heavy snow through 7 PM tonight.

In a release issued at 3:30 PM they say, “Mixed winter precipitation, including freezing rain, sleet, and moderate to heavy snow, will continue into the evening across portions of Wisconsin, lower Michigan, and far northern Illinois.

Freezing rain and sleet are ongoing across southern Wisconsin, southern lower Michigan, and far northern Illinois.

As the energy associated with the storm center moves northeast towards us, snow will increase in intensity. Possibly up to 1 inch per hour rates.

A winter storm warning continues to be in effect for our area.
